Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SiteSense (“the Service”), operated at sitesense.app. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

SiteSense connects to your Google Analytics 4 properties via a read-only API and presents your website analytics in a simplified, plain-English dashboard. Optional features include AI-powered summaries and weekly email check-ins.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You must not share your account or allow others to access it on your behalf.
  • You must have the authority to connect any Google Analytics property you link to SiteSense.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access other users’ data or workspaces
  • Interfere with the operation of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service
  • Use the Service to collect or process data you do not have the right to access

4. Plans & Billing

SiteSense offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan you authorise us to charge the payment method on file each billing cycle.

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • We may change plan pricing with 30 days’ notice. Existing subscriptions remain at their current rate until renewal.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you believe a charge was made in error.

5. Your Data

You own your data. SiteSense does not claim ownership of any analytics data retrieved from your Google Analytics properties. We access your data solely to display it within the Service and to generate summaries you request.

6. AI Summaries

AI-generated summaries are provided for informational purposes only. They may contain inaccuracies or misinterpretations of your analytics data. Do not rely on AI summaries as the sole basis for business decisions. Always verify insights against your raw analytics data.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep SiteSense available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service depends on third-party providers (Google Analytics, Supabase, Stripe, OpenAI) whose availability is outside our control.

We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable notice for planned downtime where possible.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SiteSense is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or AU$50, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice where practical. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Australia.
